Getting ready
What we need from you to get started
The exact list always depends on the type of service and the company’s situation, but most engagements start with the material below. We agree the handover of these item by item after assessing your needs.
- Company documents. Founding document, company extract, specimen signature, tax number and registered activities.
- Last year’s financial statements. The most recently approved balance sheet, profit and loss account and notes to the accounts.
- Trial balance. The trial balance as at the handover date and the related sub-ledgers.
- Opening figures. Customer and supplier accounts, fixed asset register, inventories, tax account balances.
- Bank statements. Bank statements for the current period, cash records and the related payment transactions.
- Contracts. Current lease, loan, leasing and service contracts, and orders in progress.
- Employee data. Employment contracts, personnel and payroll records, attendance data, fringe benefits.
- Official documents. Tax authority procedures in progress, decisions, documents of earlier self-revisions.
