Financial advisory
Financial planning, liquidity management and building a financing structure — so that business decisions rest on a foundation supported by figures.
Overview
Well-founded decisions on a stable financial footing
A business can operate predictably when its financial background is planned and its financing structure fits its activities.
Because of changes in the economic environment, situations arise ever more often — company formation, an acquisition, a management buy-out or a merger — where it is worth bringing in an external financial adviser. In such cases both the weight of the decision and the time available justify having the calculations prepared under independent professional review.
The starting point of our work is always the company’s current operating structure: we develop an optimal financing structure to match it and help keep that structure in balance. Throughout the advisory work our qualified, experienced colleagues adapt to the specific needs of the business.

Frequently asked questions
What our clients ask most often
When is it worth bringing in a financial adviser?
Typically when you face a decision that goes beyond ordinary operations: company formation, an acquisition, a merger, a management buy-out, a larger investment or raising finance. It also helps when liquidity planning or management information does not give enough of a basis for decisions.
Do you have to keep our books as well?
No. Financial advisory can be used on its own, building on your existing accounting data. If we keep the books too, the data is available faster, but that is not a precondition.
What data is needed to start the work?
Usually the financial statements of previous years, the general ledger data, contracts in progress and financing agreements. We put together the exact list at the first meeting, tailored to the purpose of the engagement.
What data is needed for financial planning?
Typically the financial statements of the last two or three years, the current-year general ledger data, contractual commitments and planned investments. From these we build the liquidity and profit plan, and then compare it with actual figures at regular intervals.
Do you also prepare material for a bank or a grant application?
Yes. We prepare business plans, cash flow forecasts and the reports requested by the financier, with an auditor’s eye — so the material is numerically consistent and defensible.
